Moving... Part Two... Loadin' Up the Truck...

Well this post is for Saturday June 1...

It was a crazy day..
How crazy you ask... Well it was bug-popping eyes kinda crazy day...
Bahahaha, he found these huge googgly eyes and did that, Buggy went crazy! Her eyes got almost as big as the ones her Daddy was wearing!!! It was so funny!

The Hubby would kill me if he knew I used this in my blog...
Anyway, the truck got to our house about 8am..

Ummm it was a HUGE truck, I got to thinking oh my lord do we REALLY have THAT much crap stuff!?! But come to find out, there were two other families belongings in that van as well! One was going to Fort Benning, GA and the other was going somewhere to FL.. Soooo yeah, made me feel much better and not that I was a hoarder! The good thing is that with being the last shipment on the truck we will be the first ones off! Also it was nice to see that the packers seemed to take their job seriously and took pride in their job. Which made me feel better, in hoping that all our stuff wouldn't get ruined!

Buggy got to eat her first doughnut that day too! She LOVED it and got really into it. Awe a girl after her Momma's heart! It was a raised doughnut with a chocolate glaze and sprinkles!!! She ate almost the whole thing, besides the three bites her Momma took! Hey I gotta eat too!!
Our plastic wrapped couch! Pretty stylish if you ask me! Hahaha at least I wouldn't have to worry about me or anyone else getting the couch dirty, if I were to leave it like that!!... Hannah-Bug was in awe when they were wrapping up the couch...

Yeah an empty house! I have a major love\hate relationship with the empty house. I love how there is hardly anything to clean... Yet I hate how we are having to live on an air mattress as our only furniture. So it goes for our sofa, our bed, our dinning room table...Sigh and plus our land lord gave us a long long list of stuff she wants done..
Now onto cleaning, patching nail holes, and killing lots and LOTS of ants...
No seriously, moving everything seemed to have brought IN a nest of ants into our office!
We have been killing them all with an ant killer spray... Pretty much poisin! Anyway, went to sweep them up today...OMGOSH!!! Horrid!!! I can't believe we had that many ants in this one little room!!
That's a dead moth you see... SO that's how big the ant pile is!!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Anyway, had to go off to Homedepot and Lowes today, found the color I THINK I want to paint our office\craft\catch-all\paly-room\maybe family room....I'm thinking of maybe either A. All the walls that color or B. Maybe just one accent wall that color! I know I love white with it.. So white trim and other white accents for sure!

There is not a lot of natural light in this room... So what do you think? Am I crazy?!?! Or do you like it? Would you do A or B?!?!
I'm leaning towards more B.. Doing the wall with all the little windows the peacock blue and then painting all the little "window" walls bright white... But then again maybe not! Hahahaha I can't seem to makeup my mind..

Also one more random piece of info... When I go see my family in TN for a few days I will be Henna-ing my hair with one or two of my sisters!
I'm excited but nervous! My lovely sister Katy has already ordered it for us too!
I went with the "Ginger Blonde" color!

For more info on Henna click HERE....
No worries, fellow bloggers I WILL be taking loads of pics of the whole process and before and after pics too!

Well it's gettin' late! Better try to go to sleep before the Hannah-Bug awakens...

Moving... Part One... Packing...

Well y'all what a CRAZY weekend it has been... So much so that there is no way I could tell you all about it in one lil post... So you will have to bear with me as I slowly get the posts up!!
First off Packing Day was on Friday May 31st... The Hubby left bright and early to go clear CIF... Meaning he had to go to this huge building and give back a lot of his equipment, clothes that he had gotten while in the Army... Anyway, I had been noticing that there was the smell of a wild fire burning somewhere, and I kept looking out windows and what not to see if I could see smoke... Yet none to be found. Anyway, the packers got there and I showed them around the house, telling them where our *safe* zones were.. *Safe zone: an area in which you put the stuff you DON'T want packed... Even then some things still got packed! Hahaha* Anyway, the packers go out the front door to go get boxes and packing paper... I walk by our kitchen window and notice this HUGE plume of smoke! YES SMOKE!!!! Being the great mother that I am I left The Bug on the floor in the living room with boxes all around and I go out back to find our yard garbage can engulfed... YES engulfed in flames!!! First thought as I am standing there slack jawed gazing upon the sight of my trash can on fire... *Holy Shit!!!* Seriously?? Why me?!?! Anyway, so just that morning my Hubby has disconnected the hose and wound it up *of course* and so I had to screw it back on and getting the stupid hose close enough to the flames was a HUGE chore. The stupid hose kinks horridly bad!! Finally, FINALLY I get some water on it and kill the flames... Got it to the point where I felt ok leaving it for a minute so I could run in and make sure my baby wasn't in danger... Walk in to find her chewing happily on a package of packing tape... The packers walk in too and I'm like OMGOSH I'm sorry that she is chewing on it, they where kind enough to tell me not to worry about it, then I nervously giggle and tell them what just happened. They both sprinted out my back door and started ripping all the stuff from the trash can and getting lots more water on it all... And THIS is what our trash can looks like now...

The Hubby being the funny one that he is was like "you should have just let it burn...." Ummm yeah next time you disdie to BURN something make sure your HERE!! Akkkkkk!!! Anyway, so that t'was the morning....
However the rest of the day went as planned. The packers packed and got everything packed up!!
Buggy's Room, I will be honest, I'm sad to be leaving her fairy tale tree!!

Buggy fell asleep to the lovely sounds of tape ripping going on, and yes she is asleep. And yes her eyes are open. She has this creepy habit of sleeping with her eyes open...

After the long day of packing, hahaha not that we did any of the packing yet it was so tiring to have other's pack up all my stuff! It was weird. Anyway, we went out for some yummy soft serve ice cream at DQ!! What a great way to end the day!!!
Anyway, I will try my hardest to get Part Two.... Loading the Truck Day up on here soon!!
As always...

Memorial Weekend Re-Cap......

Well to start off with on Friday we got some good news! The house that we are trying to buy had it's VA appraisal, and we should be finding out tomorrow how it went. Also The Hubby got some good news finding out that when he gets out of the Army we wont be owing the Army $1000.00! That is a HUGE relief, to say the least. We ended up going out to dinner really REALLY late..As in 9pm kind of late! It was fun and The Bug really liked it too!

Saturday

To start off the lovely day we headed off to Sears bright and early to go get our car worked on. Had to get the oil changed and a 12point inspection done for our up-coming trip! *Yippie yet another item I can cross off my massive to-do list*
Of course after dropping off the car we HAD to walk over to Starbucks..

She LOVES the bright Kelly green straws from Starbucks!
We ended up going to Territory Days with some of our friends! It was a great time... And a very HOT time too.. Until some lovely cloud cover came and cooled it off just enough!

I told him to smile... sigh such a grumpy old man at times...hehehe

Oh yes must not forget Saturday night!
ANTS!!! How I hate ANTS!! It seems like this house is built on a huge anthill.. Last summer we had tons of them and this year we are having more so then last year... Honestly, yes they freak me out, I hate having to use poisin around my little one... But nothing natural kills them... However thanks to my mom after I kill them with the poisin, I use Simple Green and wipe down whatever area has been infected with them and it seems to work on them NOT coming back to that spot... UGH I feel so itchy right now even writing about them!!!
I wouldn't care all that much, however in the paper work that I got from our movers if we have pests in the house, they have to stop packing/loading our things until we can have the house bug bombed!! We don't have time or the money for that!!!!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Sunday

Ummmm more of the same! The battle of the ants continued... This time me finding them in our bedroom which is the only room in the whole house to have carpet!! ICK! No really Sunday was all in all just a go to church and then stay home kinda day!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Monday

We had made plans on Sunday to go to a park andtake a picnic lunch.. It ended up being the perfect temp and weather for it! It included flying well trying to fly a kite and blowing bubbles! What fun!
I tell you what! I would SO rock her shirt! I would love to have a shirt like that!

*trying* to fly the kite!

Nom Nom Nom

Silly Buggy!
I love her newest smile! When she crinkles her nose!!
Took a nap at the park too!
A fly over to honor the fallen...

Momma and Buggy
And then of course once we got home The Hubby made some really good pork and creamed corn, but not only that he made a very YUMMY drink-ie!

Think a jazzed up sangria! It was super yum-yum! Strawberries, mint, lime grenadine, wine and my husband mentioned something else but I'm not sure! All I know was that it was super yummy!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
So that was my weekend!
Hope you enjoyed that small peek into my life ! And I spent far too much time having FUN! Cause these next 48 hours are gonna kick my butt! Packers come on Thursday morning bright and early! And I am SO NOT READY!! I still need to pack all our clothes, toiletries, cleaning supplies, foods, stuff from the kitchen like knives and paper products, office stuff like our paper work binders, toys for The Bug, pretty much everything we will need to live on and with for a week after our stuff is packed, and until we leave! Anyway! Best be going... Keep a look out for packing posts!!!

Yep! That's Our Map and We Gotta Stick To-It......

You see that map??? We are talkin' about 1,873 miles of FUN-NESS, that's 7 states!!! In a loaded down car.. With a 1 year old in the back who for the most part HATES being in the car.. And seems to have a great knack for throwing up at the most stress-filled points of the drive! Exciting times, I can't wait!
However after some pinteresting, I am feeling a bit better about the whole trip I have some great ideas mainly from this one woman's blog.
She has some great idea's for hitting the road solo, with little ones in toe! I am so going to use some of her idea's for our up-coming trip... The same woman also had some other fun and great ideas on THIS post.. And maybe an idea that involves keeping size 5 dipers with you in your car at all times... For.. Emergencies.. And we are not talkin' kids here either!! Hahaha a good read!
Also The Hubby has a PSP, I am going to buy 2-3 used moves kids movies for it. I have already come up with an idea to use thin elastic, sew it into 2 loops and then put a loop on either side of the drivers head rest and slip the PSP between those, and *bippity-boppity-boo*!! You got a make shift car entertainment center! I am also going to do some makeshift thing for the head phones.. So they can be by her... But so she cant SEE them and get to them, that's going to take a bit more brain power!! *Think... Think... Think...*
Ehhh... Oh well, my brain hurts too much to think and type anymore! It's way past this lil momma's bedtime! Hope you all have had a lovely day..

Do-Dads...... And What-Not......

First off today, I finally did a pinterest project that I had been meaning to do for a long while now! It's a great idea, it will be going into our car for our VERY long road trip *gotta love it when The Hubby announces, "we are going to 7 hours out of our way to go visit an old battle buddy.."* Umm ok, I guess.. LoL.. Guess I don't have much say. As long as he realizes that Hannah HATES long car trips, so she may very well be screaming for a lot of the trip.. I better not hear ONE WORD of complaint! Since he is adding that extra car time to the trip... UGH... It will be good for the car sick throw-up sessions, dirty diapers, trash... etc..etc..
Click here for the details on how to do this nifty little craft!

Next on the list... Dinner was a great success!
Very yummy...
Creamy Bacon Carbonara
YUMM-O
Hey even the chef-hubby was impressed! YIPPIE!
Click here for the super fast and easy recipe.. Plus it has bacon, you can NEVER go wrong with bacon!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Hummm oh yes! I can honestly say I will miss some aspects of the Army when The Hubby ETS.. HOWEVER I will not miss the Army throwing-up all over my rooms!! He was going through "some" of the things to take to the cleaners tomorrow... Yep that's not even half of what he has... The BIG mess will be coming next week, say Tuesday or Wednesday! FUN TIMES!!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
And then, the fun picture of the day...
Her new favorite pastime is to climb on her walker, jump on it so it will scoot across the floor, or to stick her head all the way down into the seat of the walker with her feet in the air.. Yep she is super special!
Well that's all for now!

You're Not Livin'... If you're not learnin'...

Baby clothes! You can't live without them.. You need them... Now with how many baby clothes one gets can very from how many relatives/friends you have giving them to you! I know when Hannah-Bug was born, she had newborn clothes she NEVER wore! Part of me felt horrid the other part of me was like well at least I didn't spend the money on it... I know I'm horrid! Anyway, so I just started throwing the bearly worn, gently used, not fitting clothes into a huge garbage bag... For a while it was easy to hide it.. Kinda like a dirty little secret... *Don't judge! I know you have your dirty little secrets too!* hahahaha... However, finally I couldn't hide it anymore! It was slowly creeping out of her closet. Kinda like how that dirty dipper smell, you get a whiff of if it, then slowly but surly you KNOW it wasn't an innocent little fart that happened 10 minutes ago!! So you realize your gonna have to put on your big girl panties and deal with it, well that was me with cleaning\organizing her baby clothes. I know a lot of mom's who just give\trade\sell the clothes... However I wanted to be able to use the clothes again, if I am ever blessed with a bouncing baby girl, again! So I went to wal-mart, grabbed the biggest clear tub I could find.... Went home and got out all the clothes... CRUDE-O-LA!! Had to get back in the car and go get another one! This little chick-a had far too many clothes! Anyway... So after about 4 hours, of going through every little outfit, finding out the size putting it in the proper pile, realizing that I started making other piles and mixing them... I FINALLY achieved a little bit of organization!
Finished... Sorta
Well anyway, as you can see in the upper picture, I have a little blue box found that under our guest bed, so I'm using it for clothes that I get that are too big for that point in time...And when I remember to, I go through it! In fact while taking pictures I found 4 more cute outfits! Oh and the bag in the middle... Baby towels, wash clothes, shoes, socks, hats, bibs lots of bibs, and a nursing cover up and a baby sling... Need to class that up a bit more too!
New Born to 6 months
When most of the bin is filled to were I can close the lid nicely still, I pop a post-it note on the top of it stating what size through which size is in that bin...
So totally being ghetto with the trash bags! I marked them with permanent marker... Sigh if I had the funds I would so go and buy LOTS of...
I love these! However they are so $$$$$... My dream would to have each trash bag replaced with one of these nice *Space Bags!*

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

EPIC FAIL
So did you know that there is a difference between parchment paper and wax paper!?!? YEP there is.. A HUGE ONE!!! Yes I know, I come from a family that bakes, I married a chef, I worked in a bakery for almost 2 years... Sigh alas, failed and with a pinterest recipe too!!!

This is what it was SUPPOSED to look like:
*Ahem* cough-sputter...sigh and this is what MINE turned out like:
The Carmel never really hardened at all.. And since silly me didn't realize there was a difference between parchment and wax paper I used wax... And it STUCK!!!! HORRIDLY!!! OMGOSH!!!
It tasted, eh okay. LoL that could be because I was so upset about how stupid I felt when I realized there was a difference!  Hahahahaha... Well I guess your not living if your not learning something new every day!!!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

10 days till the packers come...
14 days till the movers come to load the truck...
*Three days of crazy, pinterest, OCD deep cleaning. The Hubby is kinda annoyed at the list our land lord gave us, after everything we have done and been through with the house...*
17 days till we do the walk through on our rental house...
17 days till The Hubby and I turn in our military ID's...
18 days till we Say GOOD-BYE COLORADO!

Can you say.... FREAK OUT!?!?!?! Well that's me right now..
