Today is the first day! I'm excited...
Day 1: Share a picture of your favorite ornament on the tree...
This was taken last year. We usually don't have the tree up till about 2 weeks before Christmas, and this year I don't know if we will even bother getting a tree since we will be in Oregon for Christmas....

Now these are my favorite. My mom bought a box of these for me the first year I was married. And I LOVE them... They came in a simple white box of 24. I love putting them by lights and seeing the lights twinkle through the deep red color of the glass.. Most defiantly my favorite Christmas Tree ornament..
Now onto the outfit......
Well after many MANY failed attempts at getting a self portrait done. I got one that is OK... The only thing I don't like about it.. My facial expression looks like someone just goosed me!!! Oh well, you live and learn right?!?!
Skirt: Mom made for me ummm about... YICKS! 7 years ago... I started it, but it came out WAY to short so my mom took it apart and fixed it for me. Let's just say I can sew but sewing things for myself never seems to work well!
Sweater: Wal-mart
Boots you can't see them: Wal-Mart *a last year sale... $8.00*
Earrings: A gift from my hubby while we were in Hawaii on his R&R from deployment. *it's the state tree, and it surprisingly looks ALOT like my husbands 4th ID combat patch!
So there you have it! Day one is done and I am happy that I at least got the first one done. Let's see if I can remember tomorrow!

Yeah! You look great! The earrings do look amazingly like Shawns patch, weird! That's probably why he liked them enough to buy them for you! They reminded him of someting..... ;-)
