Happy St. Patrick's Day To All Y'All......
So today was Buggy's very first St. Patrick's Day...Although we didn't do alot to celebrate the day. Kinda forgot about the parade, because it was yesterday.. And we are not huge drinking fans either... Well, I do love to have a drink once in a while. However due to the fact that I am still nursing I had to for-go that tradition this year... Oh well there is always next year...
Anyway we started off the day with eating *Lucky Charms* for breakfast, yes even Buggy munched on them! She LOVEDLOVED the marshmallows and yes they were *magically delicious*...
We then went to church and went out to our favorite after church location. Taco Bell. I know I know. Weird, but for some odd reason after church my husband and I are always craving taco bell! Weird but very true!
We came home and had a mini-photo session.
Funny Faces with Daddy!!! *CHEESE!!!*
I love what her shirt says: "I'm cute, Mom is cute, Dad is LUCKY!" So very true!!!
Today I was wearing:
Black maxi skirt: Target--
Green Tee: Wal-Mart--
Brown Belt: Kohls--
Last year's black flip-flops... hahaha had planned this outfit and forgot that I didn't have any nice shoes to wear! Oh well... You live and learn!!! Buggy was so tired from her photo shoot that she fell asleep on the floor!
Then for dinner I made GREEN yes GREEN spaghetti! It turned out rather good.. And kinda weird too, you could say it looked Christmas-ie or maybe a poor little leprechaun was murdered.. Anyway it was really easy.. You put food coloring into the boiling water, dump noodles in. Let noodles cook normal time.. Drain and *PRESTO* you have colored noodles!
Buggy also tried peas and corn for the first time and loved them...
Last but not least.. Another pinterest idea was for dessert.. Yet I put my own twist on the green! They are supposed to taste like the Sonoma Girl Scout cookies that my hubby and I love so much.. I just colored the coconut green!!! I know I'm amazing... No what's amazing is that I didn't get THAT idea off pinterest!!!!!! They were very yummy! My hubby has dubbed them.. *Crack bars*
Well I hope that all y'all had a most wonderful and fun filled St. Patrick's Day! I know we had a good one...
I leave you with this:
We got this a little while ago, it's a picture frame\chalk board\magnate board!!! And we got it for FREE!!! Can't beat that... Anyway, I am trying to figure out where to put it and what pictures to put in there... I'm thinking it will be in the kitchen, so should I put pictures of sunflowers in it?!?!?! Sigh, I don't know! Welp I better get going... This Momma is sleepy and I gotta get up early to clean the house!

Buggy is so cute, can't wait to see her again!
ReplyDeleteThe green noodles do look a little Christmasy with the red sauce, we'll have to try that sometime!
*gasp* An idea NOT from Pinterest? Is that ALLOWED?!
