Happily Ever After......

Soooooo when I visited Oregon, I was inspired to make this really beautiful photo collage with some of my wedding pictures. It turned out WAY better then I had hoped. I can't wait for *My Man* to be able to see it. He will love it and be very proud of me..

I started out with three canvases. The two littler ones are 8 inches by 8 inches..
And the bigger one is 12 inches by 12 inches.. I painted the very edges as you can see and I also painted the sides of the canvases, since you will be able to see them when the project is finished...


I then got some coordinating paper of what my wedding colors were and what would match the room it was going in..(Golden yellows and deep red for the wedding colors) and then *deep red, cream, and blue for the room colors my hubby wants!* And then I just had to use my imagination! (I know! I was shocked too! I still have one...) Just think of scrap booking!




This is "Shawn's side"! *sigh* I miss My Handsome Soldier! Anyways, below his picture I wrote out this verse from the Bible.. "It is not good that man to be alone. I will make him a helpmeet." Genesis 2:18


Then this is "My side"! I wrote above my picture this verse from the Bible.. "He made a woman, and He brought her to the man.." Genesis 2:22b


This is the middle which as you can see is the "US side" together! Then the verse I wrote in the corner is thus.. "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one." Genesis 2:24
The long white piece of paper you see, are OUR vow's printed out, and attached to the collage as well!


It just took some time, paint, stickers, paper, black and white photos *of any occasion, at the same house that I copied this idea from they had one for when their daughter was born... Plus one for their wedding.. So any special occasion would work!* Just remember to use your imagination!!! (FYI.. best place to get supplies like that.. Wal-Mart and Michael's!)

This is my finished project hanging above our bed! 4 of the pictures are from our Wedding in Bend, Oregon... While the 3 other pictures are from our *FULL* second wedding in Deposit, New York... Thank you to all who took pictures! As you can see I'm already getting lots of use out of them...
