Summer Flowers......

So when I was in Oregon I was inspired and determined to have some flowers, when I got back home to Colorado. I went to the store and bought some flowers, two pots and a new and summer-ie Welcome mat! Oh.. and a watering can, too! My only fear is that I wont be able to keep my flowers alive. My neighbor saw me putting the flowers out and told me how nice they looked. I laughed and said, "well I just hope I can keep them alive... That's all I'm worried about." He told me that they only take a little bit of water and sunshine and they would do fine. I'm not sooo sure about that. I have a mom and a sister who both garden, me.... ehhh not so much, I have issues with over and\or under watering. I mean, some have green thumbs, I have a black\brown thumb! So I can tell you that I was over~joyed to marry a man who loves to landscape, and garden. However due to deployment and the fact that we don't really have a yard to landscape... I thought a few pots of flowers would add a fun and home-ie touch! I must say. All I need is a cute *WELCOME* sign and I will be set! I will have to post a picture of the welcome sign after I get it!!!

*The new and improved "WELCOME" mat.. I saw it and knew it would look great, plus I got it on sale!* Can't beat that.

This is my hanging pot of.."Dianthus" I loved how pretty the pink is!

Lets see I bought two of these potted flowers and they are called "Hawaiian Flamingos". I put them on either side of the door. I love how they are different colors. So fun, and summer filled!

Hummm.. The "Welcome" mat, and my two new pots of pretty flowers! *Please! Let them live!* Oh and please take note.. The green watering can.. What can I say, I'm a wee bit nervous and excited about having flowers..

The view off the porch, deck, walk-way.. Humm what would you call it? I mean really it's kinda like a hotel, I walk up three flights of stairs and pass by 3 doors to get to my door.. So walk-way would be correct, right?

As always. Be safe! Be Blessed and Be a Blessing!
