For starters, I got roped in to a HUGE sewing\craft project for my husband's Culinary Cooking Team. They needed 4 light\lamp posts covered in black fabrics. The Sergent that was in charge wanted me, to make slip covers. However after wasted: time, blood, sweat, and many tears... I came to find out that I could NOT make slip covers, for these curvy beasts. So instead my husband and I covered the posts. Lot's of glue, more tears, more sweat, and more blood *stupid sewing pins* I got them covered! It was a huge stress because they are taking these light posts to Fort Lee, VA. For a HUGE cooking competition and I didn't want it to look horrid and reflect bad on the team! But everyone loves them!
Also I made a slip-cover for an octagon turn table...lol that was difficult too, especially for someone that math does NOT come easy to! But I survived and concord the octagon beast!
Then there was the Cold Food Display table, what I made the light posts and octagon slip cover for... I helped with that alot as well. I made and brought snacks, helped with prep work, and took pictures! To see what an amazing job the Fort Carson Team did go to: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.347934861906575.86907.100000701921209&type=1&l=a823624da6
On top of that my hubby and I have been getting Hannah's room ready. We have a most beautiful and perfect crib and changing table set! My *AMAZING* parents bought it for us. And we have slowly been gathering things together for our new little one. Who should be making an appearance here in about 10 weeks! Anyway this is HANNAH'S ROOM so far....
So as I was talking about before, with my husband going to Fort Lee, VA. I saw this amazingly cute idea on *Pintrest* And HAD to do it for him. You take:
-a deck of cards
-a sharpie marker
and pictures if you want.
You write on each card something you *LOVE* about the person your giving the deck of cards to. And on the box you can put cute little pictures of you and that special someone, and you write *52 Things I LOVE About You...* It's a super cute and super cheap idea... I hoped he liked it. I should know soon-ish! I slipped it into his bag that had some snacks and what not in it...
And now, I am off to do LOTS of organizing... I have alot to-do this coming week. I will take pictures of my progress and let you all know how it is going...
