I hope that you all my lovely readers are having or had a most blessed Easter Sunday. This morning, I went into my soon-to-be daugher's room and low-and-behold this is what I found!
*The Easter Pig!!!!!! lol I don't know about you, but I have heard the Easter Bunny, but an Easter Pig?!?!*
*The Easter Pig, is rather messy.. He pooped all over the rom!*
*Well I guess not ALL over the room, just in a trail like manner.*
*What the Easter Pig, or rather MY very SWEET hubby left for me..... I know, I'm spoiled.. lol sometimes!*

And then on Friday evening, a good friend from church hosted a *family cook-out* for my husband and me in honor of Hannah Grace! A bunch of families from our church *Harvest Downtown* went in together and bought us a Stroller\Car seat combo!!!!!
*It took both my hubby and me working on putting it together for 30-45 minutes!!! It's crazy you think it wouldn't be THAT hard to put something like this together....*
*The pattern or "collection" I guess is the word you use is the "Sweet Pea" collection! It's Green and Brown, figured we should do gender neutral colors on the bigger items so then when baby #2 and #3 and so and and so on arrive we can use them still!!!
My husband and I are so thrilled... We are officially ready to have Hannah come join our family. We have EVERYTHING we need and in place and none too soon either. Since today I am exactly 36 weeks! Crazy times I tell you what. I even have my birth plan written up. I will be taking it to my doctor\ob\nurse midwife this coming week to have them put it in my file. I will be bringing lots of copies with me when I do finally go into labor.. It's funny with the birth plan it took me a LONG time to write it. I wasn 't sure how to word things and how to put my wants\needs\hopes into an articulate fashion... If your wondering what a "Birth Plan" looks like, take a look at mine...
Birth Plan For The Hafele Family
Birth Preferences:
I understand that labor and birth are unpredictable and ultimately want the health and safety of both the baby and I to take precedence. In all non-emergency situations, all proposed procedures are to be discussed (benefits and risks) so I can direct the decision making with informed consent.
Your help with these preferences is very much appreciated.
Labor:
• I intend to have as natural a labor as possible – including freedom of movement, intermittent monitoring, a saline lock instead of an on-going IV, and clear liquids as tolerated.
• Please accept my request that pain medication not be offered to me. For many reasons – personal and medical, I’m striving for an unmedicated labor and delivery. If I eventually want drugs or an epidural, I’ll be the first to ask for it and understand that options change as labor progresses.
Birth:
• Please do not direct my pushing with counting or yelling. I will ask for help if needed.
• I strongly prefer a tear to an episiotomy and do not want a local anesthetic administered to the perineum.
• I plan to be as active during pushing & delivery as possible, including choosing productive positions. I’ll make sure the OB has comfortable access.
• I would like to have the baby brought to my chest immediately for skin-to-skin contact & if at all possible have the baby’s APGAR’s taken there as well.
If Cesarean Is Required:
• Please use double-layer sutures when repairing my uterus. When I have a second child, I hope to attempt a VBAC and understand this is a requirement for many doctors.
• As health permits, I would like to skin-to-skin contact with the baby, to stay together during repair and recovery, and to breastfeed during the initial recovery period.
Baby Care:
• We would like to spend as much time as possible with our baby after birth before being taken off for procedures and will be breastfeeding, so please refrain from giving bottles/pacifiers/sugar water.
We Appreciate Your Support. Thank You!
So there you have it! :) More posting to come with the planting that has been going on and what not. However as of now, I am off to go and clean my kitchen.
