A Fa-ll La La La La-ish Weekend Re-Cap

Here is a sneak peek into our lil' weekend... Saturday Miss Bug and I solo-ed it like we do every Saturday. One of the many joys of having a hubby who is a chef at a country club.. Anyway...

Got Miss Bug all ready to go out to our favorite hangouts...

Wearing a hand-me-down dress\shirt from my little sisters. *its supposed to be a dress but it's 18 months and THAT short.. hahaha in my book that's a shirt...*

Got Miss Bug into the car, I got myself into the car turned it on... BANG!!!!
Yep this branch fell on the car... Thankfully no damage done... Just freaked me out!

On our way to Opalika.... It's about a 45 minute drive one way...
But has the best stores and ahem...*cough cough* and possibly a Starbucks too..

 Saw this, started laughing... Seriously think about it... Can you imagine the squirrel that would eat THIS!?!?!?! Talk about a huge and scary!!  

 Miss Bug showing off the straws that we bought... And that she chewed and got through the plastic, therefore, baby spit + paper straws = soggy mess!!!Yeah... Fun times..

 So Sunday being the first day of fall... My wonderful hubby wanted a fall-tastic drink. So he got the blender all ready with a very yummy pumpkin spice coffee drink for him and me... Well little did either of us know... The blender bottom is BROKEN! He lifted the blender up to place on the stand.. Yep.... EVERYTHING on the floor...In the cupbords.... in pots and pans... all over EVERYTHING... 

It took about 45 minutes to clean up this little mess... Poor guy felt horrid about it.. Was really nice about taking care of Miss Bug while I cleaned up the mess... All in all though, it was ok. My shelves got super cleaned!

 This meal that I made was FANTASTIC!! It's a creamy pumpkin yumminess... And super simple as well... My hubby and me HIGHLY recommend it..

 This... My hubby has changed the name from Pumpkin Brownies to CRACK... Yep I guess it's worthy to be called crack.. It's very simple and doesn't take a lot of time... I shall give you all the recipe...But later!

 After the blender *broke* the hubby then mixed up another batch, but instead of blended we went with *iced* it was really YUMMY! Notice the straw... One of the few surviving from the slobber murder that happened the day before!

 I was board... How board you ask?!? I painted my finger nails.. .It's been AGES since I have done this.. And the two colors, I have never done... My sister Katy says she is proud of me! hahahahaha... I did a light pink as the main color and then my new gray color as the accent...

 

 

 

I had Miss Bug go outside and I followed her around and took some fall-ish pictures of her!

 Her Daddy was holding her up, she thought she was pretty cool being in the tree....

 Love this picture... Her face is pure fun-ness!

She is wearing, another handed down dress from my little sisters.. Tights and her cool boots...

And to top off the weekend.... The hubby is a happy boy... He has a kayak... He has wanted one since we bought our house... Which is about a 2 minute walk from a lake... Yeppers... He is now a proud owner of a kayak...

 

So that was our little weekend in a nut shell!
