However.. Tuesday morning... I found out some wonderful news... the words "You got the house" were spoken to me. I was dumbfounded and a little skeptical.. Sure....Right.... I bet they called the wrong person... HOWEVER this morning I walk into the Realtors office. And my name as well as my husbands' was on the lease... Oh My Goodness... So after reading through the lease... I believe it was 6 pages of type 10 print... I signed my name on the dotted line. Dated it and then signed my husband's name. I payed the Realtor and she handed over the keys.. However a funny thing was mentioned to me. I have also been told that I just did a typical Army Wife thing... Moving while my husband is deployed. This friend who told me this is an Army wife who has moved 3 or 4 times while her husband has been deployed multiple times.
All I have to say is that the fun isn't over yet... I still have to:
-Schedule a date to have my apartment inspected.
-Call utilities to get them switched on at the house &
to have them read the meter one final time when I move out.
-Change my address.... AGAIN.. Sheesh I was changing my address and moving last year at the time... CRAZY...
-Give my apartment office the 30 day's notice.
-Call my Internet provider to see if I need to do anything spacial to move,
-Organize a "Move" date. So I can have a few men from my church come and help me.
-Call the landlord to see if I can paint
-clean and maybe paint a few rooms before I move in.
-Strat packing up apartment.
Now the tricky thing is... getting it done before October 1. I have 14 days and counting! Craziness... And that's JUST for the moving issues. There's other aspects of life I have to worry about, focus on and put my heart into as well...
(On a side note... I mustn't complain too much. I have had friends and family stand by me, and encourage me every step of the way. I just miss my husband something horrid right now.....)
*The only thing that would make this a "picture perfect" moment is if my husband was standing by my side....*
Be Safe! Be Blessed and Be A Blessing!
