First off I took down this old fake wood blind, that was hanging by a flimsy wooden doul <spelling? it says it's right! I'm not so sure..>. And hung up some *new\old* brown curtains that I had from the apartment. I thought that was pretty thrifty of me. Plus I had an older tension rod that I used in the apartment too that fit the closet opening... I mean both things are brown. But I'm glad and happy to have that old wooden thing out of the room... It is now in the garage in case the owners still want it...
And also I changed out my old shower head... The old one had lime build up or soap scum or something on it and it felt like what I would imagine an army of elves spitting on me would feel like... Not very fun and hard to rinse off... NOW... After some learning new things regarding thread tape and how it sticks to the threads of stuff, and figuring out which end goes where... I now have a brand new shower head in our shower. And to top it off it can come off so now I can rinse the shower down after I have washed it...
As for the other thing I did... Well awhile ago right after I started renting the house I noticed at night that a really bad draft would come in through all the doors. *And as winter has been setting in, those drafts have gotten colder and colder!* And during the day you could see light in between the door and the door frame. WELL today I went to Wal-Mart and bought some *Weather Striping* and I "installed" it... Although it wasn't THAT hard, I mean I had to measure, peel, and stick.. It wasn't rocket science... Sorry no picture of that... you couldn't really tell since the door frame is white and the weather stripping is white... Anyway, we shall see tonight how much warmer it is, in our house!
Be Safe! Be Blessed and Be A Blessing!
