Bucket List......

So this is funny... I was reading my sister's blog today, and saw this "bucket list" post\give away thing she is participating in... Okay you're all are probably are like "uhhh what's so funny about that?!?!" Well just the other day I was looking through some old journals of mine and found an old bucket list! Well I didn't call it a "Bucket List" it was more like a list of things I wanted to do before I die... And I didn't realize how many items on my list I have actually DONE!!! I am sorta shocked by it.. I wrote this list out when I was oh 17ish I think.

~Go on a mission trip
(Done: went to Latvia July 2009)


~Visit Hawaii
(Done: Went on my hubby's deployment R&R, during our first year anniversary October 2010)


~Visit Europe
(Done: Germany for nine months as an au`pair May 2007- February 2008)


~Ride a motorcycle

~Go on a road trip
(Done: lol LOTS! I Drove to Oregon on my own from Colorado and back. And then I have driven from Colorado to New York with my hubby.... And Oregon again...)


~Learn a language
(Done: lol when I was in Germany I learned German, however I can read it ALOT better then I can speak it!! On my list... LoL that counts!)


~Learn to Dance

~Become a midwife
Hummm... well at the time I was apprenticing with a midwife... I can say though that I have helped deliver 32 beautiful babies into the world and 31 of those were before I was 20! The picture below is baby number 32.... *December 2010*


~Bring someone to Christ....
Hummmm I think I have helped in this process but I don't think I have actually had the privilege of bringing someone fully to know the Lord!

~Become a "good" cook *Don't know why I have the quotations there but I'm typing this out how I wrote it!*
(Done: lol okay okay, so I haven't become an amazing cook, but as time goes by I am learning to be a better cook more and more each day... Also does it count since I married a chef!?!?! LoL..)



so the score is 6 out of 10... I think that's pretty darn good.. However now that I have been typing all this out I'm thinking of other things I would LOVE to do!!!
~Fly in a helicopter
~Learn to play guitar
~Ride in a hot-air balloon

Anyway so as you can see.... I have many a more things in my life that I want to do and achieve. I guess I should hurry up and get busy!
