THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!
I mean it's huge, ginormous.. "sigh" there are no words for it...
If you ever come around Alabama and you enjoy thrift shopping... This is the place for you!
To be honest I have not always been a thrift shopper.. I have always been a thrifty shopper when I started buying my own clothes.. Never shopped anything but the sale racks.. Would drive some of my family nuts. *You know who you are*.. Anyway, after I got married, my husband had a love affair with taking me to Goodwills and ARC thrift stores after we got married... Well that love grew for me personally when he was deployed and I was lonely or missing my hubby I would go to his favorite places.. ie... Thrift stores.. So that's when I started REALLY looking... Clothes, some name brand, brand new with tags still on them! Awesome knick-knacks.. cheap but nice furniture.. Anyways, I digress!
The other weekend I had driven by this sign for this "Harvest Thrift Super Center" had told my hubby about it.. So off we went...
OMGOSH!!

First off we have the clothes... I am standing about half way into the store..
YES THIS PLACE IS THAT HUGE!
The couches and chairs there are LOTS of them as you can see!
These are ugly... BUT... If I would have had the $70.00 for the two matching rockers I might have been tempted... I would re-cover the fabric, and these chairs would make PERFECT rockers for a screened in porch.. Humm oh yeah need the screened in porch too!!! hahahaha *sigh*
The basket shelves... There were 3 long shelving units covered in baskets.. I don't know about you but,
I LOVE BASKETS!!
They are so handy for storage yet so nice looking too!

The chalk board we ended up buying for Miss Bug! She loves it... And the coast of this lovely little chalk board you ask?.?.?.? $2.94 yep that's it! If I would have known what an amazing place this was, I would have budgeted for more FUN money for there... hahahaha

I am so freaking jealous! The lamps, the baskets..there's nothing like that here! :( I might just fly on down to go there! Haha. I wasn't always into thrift shops either, but once you really take the time to look at the clothes you can find some really nice things! And if you keep an open mind (like you did with those rockers) there can be so much potential. LMAO at the church pew part!

hahahaha... yes we could go there the next time you visit for sure... It's over in the one town I took you to last time.. If you really want me to snag it for you it was $35.00 for one chair.. And I can go look the next time I'm in that town.. Can't promise anything!
