Deployment......

As of today my WONDERFUL husband of 5 and 1\2 months deployed today. It was a very sad and hard time for both of us. He is being deployed to Iraq.

Also today I sent off not only my husband but some friends as well that work with my husband! It was a double edged sward for sure!

I have also come to not like the BIG WHITE BUS! It was the last thing that I saw when my husband was leaving me....

It has been a very interesting week for sure. With my husband being put on stand by at the last minute so we really couldn't go anywhere to get away. We had to be close to home in case he got the call, having a friend\battle buddy of me and my husbands stay with us for a week, having last Hoo-Ah meals with other friends that were deployed before my husband....
Did I mention packing?!?!?! LoL! Packing is interesting in the ARMY they take more of the.... you stuff as much as you can into one bag no matter how heavy it is! These are before pictures! It was last Thursday when I did this. However I only have one *after* picture of the packed bags! That is the green duffel. I did not get a picture of the "ruck sack".

I mean really, think about it! Have any of you seen *tank* crossing signs? It makes me giggle really.... I've seens *kid* crossing.... *animal* crossing.... But never TANK!
Anyway, your prayers would be appreciated much! God is faithful I know this, because the Lord has proven Himself faithful in my life.... I know His will, will be done! Not only in my husband and his units lives, but mine as well!
